Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP is a new offering under the FSx umbrella of services, delivering a fully managed service designed, sold, deployed, supported, and operated by AWS, and as the name suggests, integrates NetApp ONTAP, the flagship file services platform from NetApp, a trusted and leading enterprise infrastructure vendor. AWS plans to make FSx for NetApp ONTAP available wherever it offers other FSx services in shared and dedicated cloud environments, globally.
