Is Your Organization Prepared for a Recall?

RedPrairie sponsored a study that surveyed nearly 130 supply chain and operations professionals within the food, beverage and consumer goods industries. The goal was to understand their ability to effectively track, trace, and recall products, both inside the enterprise and up and down the supply chain. Per the study:

• 52% of responders require days, or weeks, to execute recalls
• 46% are concerned about their ability to isolate items within their own supply chain
• 81% have trace processes that are either completely paper-based or only partially automated
